I was disappointed at first as the tech was a no call no show. Then the next day he called and came and checked out my furnace. I got an ok from CHW to have my furnace fixed.CHW says the tech will contact me, but I have not heard from the tech. He is suppose to call me. I will call him today if I have not heard from him.
Would have given more stars but after I felt rushed to renew there is an email from Victor to a Lisa on my email offering $375per year with 2 months free. Nathan was in a hurry to get my renewal st 400 per year snd 2 months free I am upset by this . Nancy Y

I called on a Monday afternoon and the service company was here within 2 hours!
The customer service agent selling me the warranty was abrasive and rude. Very pushy, and not willing to answer my questions. Tried to put a guilt trip on me as the consumer for not being able to pay the full amount and only wanting to do monthly payments.
I would like to say that this is my first time as a homeowner having a home warranty. I have never thought that I would really need one. I called in and spoke to a Mr. Sal Marino who was very professional and walked me through the entire process. I have had to use Choice Home Warranty (2) two times in the current year and they have yet to fail me. I have recommended (2) two of my retired military friends who have signed up for warranties with this company just by me telling them of my experience. If you are going to pick a home warranty...YOU NEED TO CHECK Choice out. They have great rates available and are very professional people. I have had no bad experiences and everytime I have had to call to place a claim someone was at my house within 12-18 hours. This company BAR-NONE is the best I have ever dealt with when an issue arises and I need help with any homeowner maintenance issues. I will be putting a shout-out to all my family and friends on all social media for them...Thank you Choice for being #1.
Its been 5 days since I first called Choice about our failed air conditioning in more than 100 degree heat, we are still awaiting the second repair by the same vendor Crispty air first showed up late on Friday morning replaced the capacitor and said all is good within 4 hours the air turns hot again and the equipment sounds bad making the same noise as 2 nights beforehand I called the vendor before they closed to let them know as well as Choice, Choice opened a new claim the vendor Crispty said they would be out Saturday morning between 8 am and 11am, then called again saying by 2 pm no show until 3:30 pm, pulled the compressor cooling fan said they would be back out first thing Sunday morning Sunday morning I called Crispty air they said they are heafed our way and would call me back with an E T A, I called them back 2 hours later, they said the tech got hung up longer and would call me back with an ETA, they called back at 2:50 pm and said they wouldn't be out until Monday morning between 8 and 10 am, Arizona time because they need to match up the fan blafe and motor as yet Its 6:30 am Monday morning currently, since the air conditioner stopped last week its been triple digit weather, we will see what happens today Yes I have been in contact with Choice several times, on Saturday they started a new claom, assigned a new vendor 8 am till 11 am, they never showed or answered my calls, ANNis Then claimed we weren't home, but we were, had family here all day no air Then Choice assigned another vendor Diamond to come out on September 13th, 8 days after the air conditioning quit to make the repairs, I called Choice and let them know this is not correct Not sure who compiles their vendor list or verifies the vendors but not any vendor has shown up with a card or in a marked vehicle as yet Charles Smith Casa Grande, AZ

It was a good experience but it was sometimes hard to get a hold of someone from Choice Home Warranty on the phone.

my hot water heater went out and it was such a relief when i remembered we had choice home warranty because plumbers can be so expensive! i called late at night and they are open 24 hours so a real person answered and was patient and understanding. they had the plumber call me first thing in the morning to set up an appt. i only had to pay one service charge even though the plumber had to order parts and come back out. the plumber, himself was also very nice and professional. i feel confident in my decision to go with choice home warranty. you never really know how a company will be until you actually need them!
This is our second year with Choice and the first time I have had to use them. I submitted a claim late Tuesday afternoon and they had somebody here to fix my garage door opener early Wednesday afternoon. They didn't just send some Joe nobody to fix it either they sent a very well known and highly recommended company from my town. Very fast and very professional! I am 100% satisfied with my choice with Choice Home Warranty...I give them ☆☆☆☆☆ rating!
Timely responsiveness and the contractors they've sent to deal with issues have been professional and effective.
I've been a long term customer, have had 3 houses covered at one time. Last year I had some problems with AC at my Allenbrook house. It wasn't to be replaced just some minor repair. I supplied Choice with the proper maintenance documents but was refused coverage...very discouraging.
Given it was the first time submitting a service request, I could not be more satisfied with CHW's claim process. The system promptly scheduled the request to fix my A/C claim within a reasonable timeframe. The contractor responded within an acceptable window on the day the service was completed and he provided service beyond what was expected. The experience was the best home warranty service that I've received after decades of being a customer with AHS.
I'm very pleased with Choice Warrenty! They handled my pool problem! It gives me a piece of mind to know when I lay my head down at night if I have an issue, I can call them and they take care of my problems as they say they will, not just get there money every month and then argue when you do have an issue! Thank you Choice!!!

Choice Warranty was excellent in its response to me every time that I called to check on the status of the two claims that I filed with the company. Unfortunately, the first tech vendor, El Paso Appliance Repair, that was assigned to work the problems with my dishwasher and my clothes washer was not responsible in determining the problems, submitting the diagnosis to Choice, and then ordering the repair part for the dishwasher. It took several telephone calls to El Paso Repair and to Choice before a different tech vendor, Rapid Repairs, was assigned. Rapid Repairs even came out to check my two appliances on the holiday of July 4. By July 6, Rapid Repairs informed me that the repair part for the dishwasher was ordered and that upon receipt of the part a call would be made to me to come out and install it. Also on July 6, Choice called me inform me that the clothes washer was none-serviceable because repair parts for the machine are no longer available. Choice offered to send me a check to compensate me for the loss of the clothes washer. I was not at all happy with the lack of attention by El Paso Appliance Repair, but at extremely satisfied with the attention by Choice Warranty in the action taken to provide me a more reliable tech vendor who finally resolved the problem with my two washers. Again, thank you Choice Home Warranty.

I have a home built in 1952. I have had my choice warranty for 3 yrs now and have had to use Choice for repairs. On every occasion I received a prompt follow up and a repair company who would contact me as well as their contact information to contact them if needed. They have always followed up on the service I received and if there was ever an issue they would address it immediately. I now have Choice recommended service companies that I prefer and Choice has allowed me to continue working with my preferred vendor. I am very happy with my service.
I have coverage with your company for several years and was very satisfied. Now that I became a realtor and my wife and I purchased a home, I decided to get another policy with you. The only problem I have, is that I did not get credit as a realtor. Maybe you can fix this issue. I would love to recommend your company to my clients.
I was trying to contact CHW all day to start a claim on my AC I finally was able to get through at 7:00pm.. That is terrible customer service!!
My claim was filed with Choice Home Warranty on 1/15/18 a technician contacted me the same day. George from TMG Appliance Repair did a remarkable job diagnosing the problem with my range and clothes dryer. He presented himself in a professional and courteous way and was very knowledgeable of what equipment was needed to fix my appliances. I believe they really care about their clients and do whatever it takes to try to keep them happy. I don't particularly care for the $45 per call service charge, but, I guess that's what it takes the keep the company in business. It's surely a lot better than paying hundreds of dollars, unexpectedly, or even expectedly!
Needed some small plumbing work done. I have used Home warranties for years and just recently switched to Choice Home Warranty. I purchased a two year policy. Wish I had done it sooner. Service I received from Choice’s preferred plumber was quick, they worked with my schedule and work was done correctly the first time. If this is an indication of the service I will get in future claims (I hope I don’t have any) I will be extremely satisfied.

Communication Problems I have given your company my property manger phone # to get in touch with them and coordinate the work, but I still getting these phones calls from the venders. I do not want these calls, that why I have hired a property manger.
I called at approximately 3 in the afternoon because I was out of town and received a call that the pump on my pool was not working and there was a possible electrical problem also. The customer service representative listened to me completely and helped me decide the best course of action to take. I very much appreciated her listening and the service delivered afterwards.
Repair man was on time with good communication about arrival time. He was very thorough in checking the system and left the area clean. Very professional and caring.
Opening the claim was a breeze and while it took more than a week for the plumber to complete the job customer service was following up every 48 hrs or so with both a phone call and emails. This shows that they care!
My refrigerator failed and I called Maytag to use the extended warranty and was told it will be sometime next week before they can have someone come out. I then called Choice Home Warranty and they had a repairman out the same day. Parts had to be ordered and he is planing to be back today to install the new part. Much quicker than Maytag would have come out...
I like e one phone call process. It's great that my Wife can depend on getting something repaired when I'm unavailable to handle it. The repairs are usually completed quickly and all I pay is my deductible. Very convenient.
It went very well with the exception of finding a vendor. I finally had to find one myself which CHW did accept and send. I called 7 major vendors in my area none of which would work with CHW.

It was only a matter of hours before I was assigned to a appliance repairman. They scheduled a time to come out and kept their word. They assessed my problems, reported back to CHOICE HOME WARRANTY and within a few more days, I was good to go and my problems were resolved. I have had other home warranty service, but CHOICE is the best I have experienced. It's refreshing to find a company that keeps their word with no hidden clauses, fees, and disappointments.
12/29/17..first time contacting CHW and in the nick of time. My policy just went into affect and I have an issue that has arised and when I called the CS Dept the lady was extremely helpful. I actually have 2 issues and I had a response with an appointment set on one within 1 hour. Still pending on #2. I can't comment on the repair part as my appointment has not happened yet. But the CSRep was very helpful to me as I have never used this process before. My contract itself was an awesome deal. Stay Tuned.
Our garbage disposal was not working properly and a plumber was at our house within 48 hours and installed a brand new one for the $45 fee!

Choice Home Warranty representative was very helpful over the phone. He explained all the options and coverages. I signed up for a 3 year agreement and look forward to their service.
The dishwasher handyman put towels on the floor to protect them from water. He explained that he would assess the situation to see if the dishwasher could be fixed with what tools he had on hand or whether he would be forced to order them. He did not need additional tools and made the repair within an hour. He was polite and informative.

I am very pleased that I picked choice home warranty because they are very quick in processing claims and getting help fast. My refrigerator was not working properly. I filed a claim and was contacted by CHW technician the same day after he looked at my refrigerator, he had to come back with part and now my frig works perfect. I must add that CHW technian was very professional and poliet.
I called for my cooler's not much cool. A tech came and fixed it. Very nice!

On Thursday I came home to a 92 degree house. I called CHW. They were very fast but courteous. They promptly provided me with a follow up email of our conversation. On Friday they sent me an email with the HVAC company name so I could reach out and make an appointment. I didn't even get a chance to call as the company called me immediately. They scheduled my appointment for Sunday. This company that CHW used for my problem was very professional and top notch. Our A/C is getting COLD! I am so glad that I switched to CHW from the one that I used before.

Not satisfied at all...sent plumber out due to no hot water in master. He sent in report stating new hot water heater was needed. You all then send someone else out from another company, who seemed clueless and then charged me an additional $45 for the same issue. I tried to call and got the standard message that you all were experiencing high call volume... this is not acceptable service or communication. I Would like someone to call me. I had no problems with getting the work done that I need. Appointment made and kept. Technician was very polite and arrived within 15 minute from the time he called.

They sales guy talked too fast and was too pushy. He seemed frustrated with me when I told him to slow down and explain a few things I did not get. I did get a good deal for a year. But he was REALLY pushy for me to commit to 3 years. If you don't have a back bone and don't know what you want I recommend researching prior to calling and be ready to negotiate.
I sent and email to CHW,lettiing them know about our non working refrigerator..the very next day,a repair man was here,and it is running like new! Certainly reccomend this home warranty done...!

We have had CHW for our home and pool for over a year now. We have used their protection when our air conditioner failed; our in-wall oven burned out a filament; our dishwasher stopped cleaning; our toilet started leaking; our Polaris pool pump bearing went out; and most recently, our main pool pump failed. In each instance, CHW responded quickly to our needs and dispatched competent professionals to diagnose and fix our ailing equipment. Their phone service staff has listened and responded appropriately to each of our calls. We highly recommend CHW to provide the comfort of knowing that you home is protected against major malfunctions for the foreseeable future.

Charlie Miller worked with me to set up an appliance insurance plan a month and a half ago to get insurance on all of my appliances that were roughly 5 years of age. Initially I was very happy as I got 6 years of INCREASED coverage for a good price (so I thought). From what I could read online on their webpage and what Charlie had mentioned in our conversations, I was made to believe I had a personalized account manager and appliance insurance company that would take care of all of my needs. After 32 days in the program, my washing machine started to leak... still worked but had a small leak. I was upset at first but realized this would fall under the program... I filed a claim with Charlie Miller and he again seemed to be trustworthy as he made no mention of any issues with the claim. A serviceman was scheduled and my policy fee of $60 for the service call was paid in addition to the nearly $2,000 for 6 years of coverage. As the serviceman came to the house, I mentioned where the leak was coming from. Without pulling any panels or pulling the machine out to look at it, he told me I had a bad transmission and seals needed to be replaced. Amazing that he knew this without looking at anything. Literally, just took a picture of the make and model sticker inside the unit. The next day I got an email stating that Choice Home Warranty would not process the claim due to the timing of the repair... again the machine had a leak 32 days into the insurance plan, 30 days was the minimum before a claim could be made. They stated the break had to have happened before my policy went into effect... This is not true, and I do not appreciate a company lying about their coverage then have the audacity to attack my character. My insurance coverage was live and I should be able to use it as intended. What is the point of getting insurance coverage with a company and not being able to use it?! They are so quick to take your money but than when it comes time to use your service they pick and choose what they want to pay for. After complaining about this to "resolutions department" he tried to tell me that they would put $299 towards my repair... This repairman told us that the cost of this repair was about the cost of a new unit (if thats even what needs to be repaired). This company is not trustworthy! They went back on their word because they just do not want to pay for the unit/repair. I have cancelled my policy and will be taking it to AS MANY review outlets and through "word of mouth" as possible in an effort to help others avoid this SCAM. I will also be reaching out to the BBB. They should be helping people however they are only hurting people and going back on their word when it comes time to actually use your insurance.
We had an a/c issue on Monday and emailed in my claim. On Tuesday morning, I had an email advising to contact the preferred air conditioning experts. And on Wednesday, the a/c was fixed. How much simpler can it get?
Very long hold times. It's very difficult to listen to your hold music and your recordings that suggests such a focus on the customer experience. After you've heard that about 30 times on a 30-minute hold, it's extremely frustrating. You obviously need more staff, and it's also sad to hear that there's no special phone line for vendors to call. He had to wait over 30 minutes for an approval, meanwhile the poor tech is losing money as he can't get to his next job. I went ahead and approved the repair and I was willing to have to wait for you to reimburse me just so that I could get my a/c back, when someone finally responded over chat to approve the repair. That's the only reason that I didn't give you a "1". Long hold times is a service company's nightmare. This is my first claim with you guys and first experience, so I'm looking forward to my agreement expiring so that i can shop around for a different company. If you can't support your vendors quickly, then I'm concerned as the end user. i called the Sales line just to get a human, they answer very quickly. The guy also said he'd forward me to a phone line where i could get support quicker. It was the same old support queue. So obviously he didn't care either, unless i wanted to spend more $$ i'm sure. So although i'm thankful the repair was approved, it's not a good support experience as your phone greeting suggests. All that does is make things more frustrating. You can't just make comments on how good you are, you have to prove it and actions speak louder.
Used the on-line request for service, response was nearly immediate. Provided all information for contractor. Did not hear from the contractor after contact so called Choice again, they called him immediately while I was on hold and arranged service the next morning. THAT'S taking care of the customer.
When I contacted the company for service I was handled with professionalism and the Rep explained exactly what would happened. The next day 24 Hr. Air contacted me and made arrangements for a visit the next day. A major part had to be ordered and because it was a TTANE, a special part. The part arrived 1 and 1/2 weeks later and they put the part in the next day. Everything was handled professionally and competently. They were concerned with providing excellent customer service. I would recommend the after market warranty to anyone for a great deal and excellent service.

Professional technicians, easy to schedule an appointment, on time arrival.
There is no way to expedite an emergent request. This can cause additional unnecessary damage which may or may not be covered under the warranty. This is a serious problem.

Waiting 36 hours for someone to come on site is frustrating. Then the repairman is very rude and does not communicate well to leave with no update. 60 hours after report and no idea what the outcome or when it will be resolved.
Look at my past Claim and having trouble to resolve the issue.
I didn't like the first time I used Choice because they did not cover the cost of the replacement of my toilet due to rust and corosion of the bolts - who knew! However, I just had a problem with my clothes dryer and decided to give them another shot and I must say the service was excellent. I will continue to keep my policy and look forward (sort of) to future repairs.
When I called for my dishwasher you had someone out in a few day and it was handle quickly. Everone was honest.

So far very happy with this home warranty. Submitted a claim that according to small print in contract would not be covered, they still sent someone out to look and decided to cover the repair. Very un expected.
I have signed up with choice home warranty for all my 6 rental properties. I am having hard time in every claim. Choice home warranty always find some exclusion and does not cover. Couple of the claims they said, partially they cover and it is almost a month and i still have not received the check. If i had known this before, i would have not signed up with Choice home warranty.
The service tech was very prompt, knowledgeable and explained everything. He made the bad news a bit easier. I would recommend him to anyone needing air conditioner work. Choice advised the repairs weren't covered, which was disappointing but worked with me and we're able to come to an agreement that was acceptable. Thank you

My appointment was on Monday between 7.00am to 11.00am, the specialist came 13.00pm. Today is Tuesday and nobody call me for reschedule new appointment to fixing the problem. I call them 3 times left voice message nobody contact me.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Terrible service partners and even worse support from Choice. Took over a week to get someone out to fix a leak. Just denied a claim today that should be covered as it is a plumbing issue. I have used other HW companies and any of them have to be better than Choice. Was sucked into ratings on their site. Bunch of BS. I strongly recommend staying away
